How to Use Mustache Wax
Mustache wax is a bit different than beard balm as far as application and purpose.
Most beard balms are designed to absorb quickly and give your beard a bit of shape but without adding much stiffness or sculpting.
Mustache waxes are a different beast, as many men turn to them to create distinctive mustache styles such as the Dali and handlebar mustache.
Expect your mustache wax to be very hard and stiff, sometimes to the point that you’ll need to heat it first with a hair dryer to get it out of the container.
Scrape out a pea-sized amount with your thumbnail and rub it briskly between the tips of your index fingers to heat it up.
Once your mustache wax is warm and pliable, you’ll be able to work it into your mustache. Start in the middle and work outward, shaping your mustache as you like.
Use your fingers or comb to shape it as you guy. Twist and twirl the tips if you like; you may need to apply several coats to the tips to achieve shaped styles.
‘Stache will dry naturally after it has been applied, so once you apply it, you’re done.
Some men only use ‘Stache in the morning but others keep it handy to add quick touch-ups throughout the day; it’s entirely up to you!
